Roles and Responsibilities

Project Management Skills

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
  • Ensure project milestones are met and projects are executed within scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify and address potential roadblocks.
  • Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder and Relationship Management

  • Act as the main point of contact for project updates, status reports, and issue resolution for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and successes in a clear and concise manner.
  • Develop trust and manage customer relationships, ensuring a shared understanding of key issues among all parties.

Cost Control and Process Optimization

  • Manage contractual requirements to minimize and control exposure through timely responses and internal escalation.
  • Control costs and maximize productivity through the implementation of effective methods, standard processes, and engagement with the Supply Chain team.

Technical and Managerial Skill-sets Required

Educational Qualifications

  • Education: BE (Instrumentation/ Electrical/ Electronics/E&TC)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management (preferred).
  • Further education in management or project management (e.g., PMP certification) is advantageous.

Technical Skills

  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication abilities.
  • Effective negotiation skills.

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Experience

  • Previous process automation project management experience is essential.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing projects, including budget ownership, resource allocation, scheduling, forecasting, and planning.
