Roles and Responsibilities
Vendor and Procurement Management
- Getting quotations from vendors as per BOM.
- Negotiation on pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Vendor management and new vendor development.
- Communication and coordination with vendors, the accounts department, and the project team.
Order and Material Handling
- Purchase order generation and obtaining materials from vendors for assignment to the project team.
- Follow-up for delivery from vendors
- Delivering goods on site
Technical and Managerial Skill-sets Required
Qualification
- BCom / BCS / MCS/Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Experience with ERP packages for procurement (e.g., Tally, ZOHO).
Soft Skills
- Good presence of mind.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Good communication skills (English – verbal and written).
- Team player with experience working in a team of at least 5 members.
- Appreciation for the importance of standards, processes, and compliance.
- Experience
- Experience in automation industries would be preferred

- Willingness to travel
